Psychiatric and Mental Health Specialization

The Psychiatric-Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist’s (PMH-CNS) course of study consists of 53-55 credit hours while the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMH-NP) program has 56-58 required credits. Students may enroll part-time and post master certificate programs are also available. Upon completion of their chosen track, students are eligible to sit for certification exams in PMH-CNS (adult or child/adolescence) and PMH-NP (adult or family).
