Welcome to the University of North Dakota Gerontological Nursing webpage.  We are excited to be able to offer this new specialization which is very much needed in this State and region. We were fortunate to have been awarded funding for this specialization with a grant from U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).

In order to allow students the most flexibility, the courses are all taught on line.  We also allow students to enroll either full time or part time.  After students complete the required courses, they are eligible for the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) examination for certification as a Gerontological Nurse Practitioner (GNP) or Gerontological Clinical Nurse Specialist (GCNS).

For more information about this specialization, you may view the other links.  Please feel free to give us a call if you have questions.
