Program faculty, as well as College of Nursing faculty, are committed to providing you with excellent classroom and clinical instruction.
Gaining admission to any nurse anesthesia program is a very competitive, time consuming process requiring a history of outstanding academic performance, clearly defined goals and perseverance. Students admitted to this program are highly respected and valued for their knowledge base, experience, enthusiasm, and professional conduct both in the classroom and clinical settings.
In January 2001, the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs granted the University of North Dakota the maximum ten-year accreditation, which attests to our compliance with rigorous academic standards. Historically, our graduates post outstanding scores on the national certification examination as well as receive very positive reviews from employers.
Traveling the road toward a career as a nurse anesthetist is both uniquely challenging and rewarding. It often entails reassessing current commitments, geographic relocations, and personal sacrifices.
